CFS Award for Digital Ethics
In cooperation with the Institut for Digital Ethics (IDE) at Stuttgart Media University
Erstmals vergeben wurde der Capurro Fiek Preis für digitale Ethik. Er ging an Marcel Schlegel vom Masterstudiengang Elektronische Medien (Schwerpunkt Unternehmenskommunikation). Die Laudatio für die Abschlussarbeit mit "besonderem ethischen Gehalt" hielt der Stifter, Prof. Dr. Rafael Capurro.

ANIE Awards 2014
During the 4th ANIE International Conference on Information Ethics organized by the African Centre of Excellence for Information Ethics (ACEIE) University of Pretoria, South Africa) that took place on July 2-4, 2014 in Kampala (Uganda)
two ANIE academic awards were presented to
Prof. Constant Okello-Obura, University of Makarere, Uganda.
and to Prof. Dennis Ngong Ocholla, University of Zululand, South Africa.
The award for political commitment to Information Ethics in Africa was presented by Mr Coetzee Bester (Director, ACEIE) and Mrs Rachel Fischer (ACEIE) to Mr Jaco du Toit, Adviser in Communication and Information, UNESCO Nairobi Cluster Office.
A Special ANIE Award for a decade of special contribution to Information Ethics was presented by Prof. Hannes Britz (Provost, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA) to Prof. Rafael Capurro.
